I have always enjoyed having my nails painted or getting a shellack manicure. The worst part is always when it starts to chip off. I know there are nails that last for weeks but I just could not do those long acrylic nails (You go girls and boys who can rock those claws!) but something simple that made my dry brittle nails look like a million bucks is always refreshing and a great point of self care!
Here’s where we cut to my single-mom-beauty-budget. I want the self care at a reasonable price and for the right amount of time. I thought I would try the store bought nails like I used to use when I was a kid. Don’t get me wrong these are not the same flick off when you scratch your head press-ons from the 90’s folks, there are some amazing brands that have brought some amazing adhesives and looks to the game these days. I have tried a handful of different brands and styles, but I have to choose my personal favorite for the post. Kiss nails (And eyelashes..more on that in another post) are amazing and whether I use their glue or the press on adhesive, I get a flawless salon look for at least a week. Trust me these babies are worth it, and under $10! Plus if your like me, you will mix and match the styles to get two sets out of every box. You save and your nails look amazing!
The added bonus specifically with the press on ones from Kiss, they have such a strong soft glue that removal is a breeze and leaves no damage to your nail underneath!
